O’Reilly on ‘The View’: “Muslims killed us on 9/11”; hosts storm off stage

I don’t watch The View – if I wanted to watch a bunch of ladies drown each other out with sheer inanity, I’d attend more family gatherings – but occasionally, as in any show, there are little scenes that might make it worth it. Here’s one of them: Watch as Bill O’Reilly, purportedly the sane talking head at Fox News, pontificates about how most Americans don’t want the Park51 Islamic cultural center (you know, the non-mosque that’s not at Ground Zero) to be built (because ad populum arguments are all people like him have on their side) and then starts declaring that “Muslims killed us on 9/11”. You have to applaud Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar’s reactions as they promptly tell him he’s full of shit and walk off stage to massive applause. [Video below the fold.]

Sorry, O’Reilly, but it seems some people aren’t taking your faux-populist crap and accepting your bigoted conflation of millions of perfectly good Americans with the handful who actually were responsible.
