Orly Taitz still protesting her (already paid) court sanctions

Though one should indeed never underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools, the same can also apparently be said about their tenacity, if Birther Queen Orly Taitz’s latest efforts to weasel her way out of her much ballyhooed $20,000 court sanctions for general wackaloonery are anything to judge by:

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from a lawyer who has been in the forefront of the challenge to President Barack Obama's citizenship.

The high court on Monday did not comment in refusing to hear the appeal filed by California lawyer and dentist Orly Taitz. She was contesting a $20,000 fine for filing what a federal judge determined was a frivolous lawsuit.

Personally, I’d thought the whole absurd saga had finally been settled back in late last August when she actually paid up. The fact that she’s still contesting the fine, even after having already paid it – and that the courts are still throwing her ridiculous ass out of court without even humoring her with a comment – really should drive it in just how remarkably pathetic she is. It’s only too bad she’ll undoubtedly keep harassing them at this point, perhaps until that wonderful day when she’ll finally be disbarred for good. We can always hope.
