Christian terrorists, airheaded frauds, douchey insurers, failed pranksters and ridiculous trolls … is it just me, or does the energy flux coursing through this post have a dark aura?

• Ed Brayton covers the ongoing FBI raid and investigation on the Hutaree, a Christianist militia/terror group that has apparently been planning to assassinate cops, bomb buildings and eventually overthrow the government, all in order to prepare for the return of Christ. Scary shit, and damn good on the FBI for cracking down on this lunatics. (Bonus item: after killing cops, they were then going to attack their funeral. Can’t say they aren’t thorough.)
