Now this is news I like to see

| »

Little is as cruel, or so it seems to me, than suffering from a terminal cancer (or any illness), knowing your days are numbered and shrinking fast – and then being chased after by bloodsucking vultures from the horseshit-peddling business that is naturopathy, and the scrupleless hacks and con-men who push their herbs and natural “cures”, promising you a full recovery should you just buy into their bullshit. These snakes are absolutely worthless, and if it were up to me, every last one of them would be tried as criminals and charged with fraud, harassment, false claims, and anything else I could stick them with (and there’re plenty of darts that could stick to that target, lemme tell you).

Which is why reports like this one bring me such vindictive joy. A family “doctor” in Los Angeles, Christine Daniel, has been charged with two counts of wire and mail fraud after promising dying cancer patients that they would be cured with her herbal treatment(s). Her MO? As is expected:

Using her influence as an ordained Pentecostal minister, Dr. Christine Daniel tapped into the vessel of faith to entice people from across the nation to try her regimen. She even appeared on cable's Trinity Broadcasting Network in 2002 touting her cancer cure and its 60 percent success rate, according to federal investigators.

I wonder if there are any verifiable statistics to confirm this supposed 60% success rate. Hmm.

If convicted, she could face up to eighty years in jail. I hope they just hurry up and make it so already. Scumballs like this charlatan prey upon the weak, the dying and the suffering to try and squeeze every last penny out of their frail bodies, for their own personal enrichment. For this reason, they deserve absolutely no pity or lenience, from anyone.
