Last night, I did something wonderful, incredible, seemingly miraculous: I went to bed before 1 AM. Gosh; I feel so … disciplined.

John McCain (R-Arizona) sponsors a bill (along with 9 others) intended to strip “unprivileged enemy belligerent” (including U.S. citizens) of any and all Miranda rights and leave them detained indefinitely without a trial or criminal charges. You’d think an ex-POW would want to avoid such situations. But not with Weathervane McCain, of course.
