How herd immunity works

The biggest problem that results from more and more people subscribing to antivaccination lunacy – actually, the one and only problem with not receiving people vaccinations, really – is a slow but steady decrease in herd immunity, the phenomenon where the more people are immunized to a disease, the harder it is for said disease to pop up and spread around and harm or kill people, especially weaker individuals such as seniors and infants.
