Conservatives vote on the “worst figures in American history”

In case you needed yet more evidence indicating that (most) conservatives really are blindly partisan ideologues, the website Right Wing News recently invited a bunch of right-wingers to vote on the who they personally believed were the very worst individuals in US history, be they politicians, mass murderers and assorted evildoers. Their challenge:

Out of all the gangsters, serial killers, mass murderers, incompetent & crooked politicians, spies, traitors, and ultra left-wing kooks in all of American history -- have you ever wondered who the worst of the worst was? Well, we here at RWN wondered about that, too, and that's why we decided to email more than a hundred bloggers to get their opinions.

And so, who are these 25 individuals whom conservatives collectively believe are the very worst, the evilest of the devilish, the monsters who single-handedly caused immeasurable harm to the United States?

In other words: Every leader of the current Democratic administration, various key liberal intellectuals, the man who led the US through WWII (and is considered to be one of the five greatest presidents in US history), the Clintons, under whom the US saw the type of prosperity it hadn’t seen in decades, the filmmaker who’s exposed more of the previous administration’s wrongdoing than most media outlets can honestly claim to … along with a sprinkling of a handful of conservative politicians and a couple of serial killers.

These are the people that whom conservatives would have you believe led the US astray and negatively impacted Americans the very most. Yeah, the mind boggles. A lot.
