• Warren Buffet [pictured] pledges 99% of his wealth – estimated at over $600 billion – to charity. Eh, I’m sure he can do just fine with keeping a measly little $6 billion to himself.

• Rush Limbaugh mocks 11-year-old Malia Obama, claims that “[w]e’ve got a child here playing President!”, mocks President Obama for being an “academic” (because an uneducated hick would be better, of course), and adds that this is during a “serious, serious emergency” that he and other conservatards spend their days denigrating. Where has thou brain melted to?

• The Huffington Post’s Alex Wilhelm demands that Bill “Jackass” Donohue step down and stop talking in all Catholics’ name. Cites numerous examples of Donohue being a bigoted bully, including his recent moronic swipe at Stephen Hawking.

• Look, I dunno anything about them or what happened (and nor do I really care), but two things: A) if she did act like such a bullying douche towards him, then I feel zero sympathy for her; and B) however bad a broken ankle from a bad fall may be, it does not constitute “beating”. Pushing her once, regardless of resultant consequences or injury, is not the same as pummeling her with punches and kicks. Words mean things, even in legalese. The charges should’ve been assault and battery, no more.
