• For anyone not paying close attention: the Gulf Oil Spill has now reached the coast and is causing damages and deaths (in addition to the damages and deaths it caused before reaching land). Thank you, Big Oil and incompetent jackasses. Way to make Exxon Valdez look like a spilled glass of milk.

• Oklahoma Gov. Brad “anti-abortion-bill-killing-hero” Henry vetoes yet another oppressive bill that would’ve limited abortion coverage from private insurers. As with the previous three anti-abortion bills he tried to kill, expect a swift override form the Rethuglican-controlled legislature. (Seriously, no-one should let those assholes control anything.)
