Bill Maher on the Byrne-Moore wingnut dance

| »

Last week, Alabama Republican gubernatorial candidate Bradley Byrne was attacked by his opponent, ex-judge Roy Moore, for supporting evolution and supposedly believing parts of the Bible aren’t literally true. In a supreme twist of wingnut pride, he defended himself against these unfounded allegations, avowing his full belief in the Bible’s inerrancy and his efforts to push Creationism into public schools. The fact that a politician has to prove how much of an ignorant doofus he is to appeal to his constituency is both rather amusing and terrifying.

Well, naturally, renown wingnut-provoker Bill Maher caught wind of this

The worst part is that those fake ads are just marginally unbelievable.
