They’re just following the predictable historical pattern where 1) country adopts universal healthcare despite some dissent, 2) country grows to love their superior healthcare, and 3) country overreacts to any perceived attempt at removing their beloved universal healthcare. (At least, that’s my slightly pedantic way of seeing things.)
