FAIL Quote of the Day: In which my doubts only increase

My doubts towards Ray Comfort’s grasp of any real sense of logic, that is. I haven’t encountered any particularly vile quotes whilst perusing news reports today, so I’m left with this benign yet amusingly stupid passage from the mustachioed buffoon:

There is a game that modern atheists play. It’s a word game. They say,

"I can’t prove that Santa doesn’t exist, but I have no belief that he does."

Then they apply that principle to God. They don’t say that He doesn’t exist. They just have no belief that He does. In so doing, they cleverly outwit those who are trying to instruct them about their eternal salvation.

Many Christians have no comeback with the clever atheist word game.

The clever atheist is like a man who plays a game with his parachute instructor. When the instructor is looking the other way, he cuts holes in his own parachute--but he does it so that it can’t be detected by his instructor.

Clever huh?

If the goal was to work in an analogy that has absolutely nothing at all to do with your introduction and leave anyone trying to understand your point simply staring at their screens and feeling their brains slough out their ears … then yes, quite “clever” indeed.

Ray, just for showing such a fundamental lack of a sense of logic, you FAIL. That is all.
