If you’re Vassar Bushmills from conservative wingnut blog RedState … then yes, seriously.

But everyone does agree, we should not take up arms, or even take to the streets with pitchforks. I agree as well. But neither can we, I argue, simply bide our time, or take the Gandhi-MLK Jr-Glenn Beck tack, by linking arms and peaceably protesting and getting in touch with our inner selves if this Slaughter Rule actually materializes. (Right now it is just a floating balloon.) For one, the other side, once secure in power, will be far more ruthless than anything Gandhi or Dr King faced.

Yes, those evil Lefties will positively rule over you with an iron fist, taking away your Medicare and religious freedom and pizza certificates! Evil commie Liburals! There will be no mercy, no freedom, no justice! And meanwhile, all you can do is draw upon that “love and peace” shtick used by great social justice-oriented minds such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi, and of course, our modern paragon of ethical resistance to the forced of evil (socialist government), Glenn Beck, and use it to rise up against the influent tides of tyranny, oppression and universal healthcare!
