Even I didn’t think she was this pathetic

Okay, to put it plainly, I never exactly had a high opinion of Sarah Palin. The amount of stupid, obviously false and completely wingnutty nonsense she comes up with on a regular basis is enough to cause anyone with a functioning brainstem to erupt into incensed spluttering. However, if there’s one thing I thought she could do right, it would’ve been that she could at least memorize what her party stood for.

Apparently, not unless she has the answers written on her hand. Literally.

The video’s a bit heavy on the theatrics, but you get the idea. Now, okay, plenty of politicians use cue cards and whatever to remember little details and things they wanna be sure to mention, so that much could be forgivable. It’s impossible to see what she’d written on her palm, so as far as we know, it could be perfectly acceptable.

Seriously? She had to write down (on her hand!) the very ideological stances taken by her party? She really had problems with memorizing what the GOP even stood for?

And then, I remember how more than half of “self-identified Republicans” believe she would do better than Barack Obama as President (and a full third aren’t even sure whether she would or wouldn’t), and I hear despair knocking at my door.
