The Universe and why it’s not a good idea to have a perfect sense of proportion

The known Universe in one word? Simply mind-blowing.

And then, think about how much more we haven’t even begun to glimpse yet … I think I see the appeal of astronomy, even though I’ll die long before I’m able to wrap my mind around a field that’s so unbelievably complex.
