… that people would be able to answer what’s likely to be the simplest question after “what is that big ‘power’ button for?”: just what is a web browser?
Computer folks may wanna look away now to prevent dramatic episodes of cringing.
*Sigh* Lessee if I get it right: a web browser is a program on your computer that allows you to use your Internet connection to browse (view and peruse) available websites on the Web. Aren’t I just great?
Hell, for added *oomph*: a search engine is a website with the functionality to allow you to search other websites and/or their content via keywords. W00t!
