Now this is a Pledge of Allegiance that makes a bit more sense

Whilst I'm still thinking pledging your "allegiance" to a country is silly (I have my reasons), this revised version of the American Pledge of Allegiance – you know, that blather you were forced to repeat every single damned morning as a kid (and I never remembered half of it, much to my teachers' annoyance) – is one I could repeat without too much of a problem.

Love that kid. Even more love the woman's flustered reaction. Congrats on a magnificent father raising kids in a secular manner.
