New 007 theme: ‘Skyfall’ by Adele

I’d never heard of Adele before learning she’s the one who performs the latest James Bond theme, ‘Skyfall’, for the same-named upcoming movie. I can’t say this will make me seek out her other songs, but it certainly has that beloved 007 flair:

It’s definitely better than the utterly unmemorable theme for Quantum of Solace (2008), ‘Another Way to Die’, but it still doesn’t hold a candle in my opinion to the best Bond tune of all, Chris Cornell’s epic ‘You Know My Name’ for Casino Royale (2006):
