Sacramento homeless to starve because of Church’s bigotry

Everything you need to know about the Catholic Church in one simple lede:

The Catholic Diocese of Sacramento no longer will fund programs at Francis House, a nonprofit agency that serves homeless people, because of its new director's views supporting abortion rights and gay marriage.

For it is better that the destitute starve than to fund to a charitable group whose leader happens to espouse beliefs contrary to the Church’s dogma.

What more encouragement do the Church’s liberal “Catholic In Name Only” supporters need to get them to abandon that Bronze Age relic of intolerance?
