From billionaire casino mogul and Newt Gingrich’s primary financial backer, Sheldon Adelson, when asked about his possible future $100 million donation to Gingrich’s super-PAC:
“I’m against very wealthy people attempting to or influencing elections,” he shrugs. “But as long as it’s doable I’m going to do it.”
You’d think it were satire. It ain’t.
