It’s not just the Right that’s willing to take any seemingly benign morsel and run it through the hype machine until it becomes the latest overblown pseudo-scandal. Here’s Jon Stewart ripping the media a new one for its ridiculous overreaction to clothes retailer J.Crew’s latest ad, which featured a photo of the company’s creative director painting her five-year-old son’s toenails pink in what can evidently only be a sign that teh queerz r coming 2 pervert us all:
