Chilling videos of tidal wave engulfing Japanese coast

| »

You don’t need me to remind you that Japan was just hit by a massive quake that registered an 8.9 on the Richter scale, one of the largest in the country’s history and roughly a hundred times more powerful than the famous 6.9-rated San Francisco quake of ’89. Rather, here are a couple of hair-raising airborne videos showing a massive tidal wave sweeping over parts of the Japanese coast, taking everything from cars to (burning) buildings along with it.

Our thoughts, hopes and monetary aid are with them.
