So, I had my first horse-riding lesson today. Overall: Quite fun, and looking forward to next week. I’ll write a little about it later on, along with a couple of pics I took of my rather jumpy mount.

• Personally, despite others’ objections, I have no real problem with politicians making religious references in speeches, just as long as they aren’t preachy or overused. If anything, they can even embellish an address when used wisely.
