Bachmann: Americans, Congresspeople “learn a lot” from “infamous Glenn Beck chalkboard”

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)

Well, this would explain pretty much everything that’s wrong with Congressional Republicans these days. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), widely crowned as the stupidest US politician (no, Sarah Palin is merely second), went on Glenn Beck’s radio show and declared that his notorious chalkboard of insanities is where both US citizens and members of Congress “learn a lot” about “what’s going on”. (I, for one, refuse to believe this of Democrats. Even they can’t be spineless enough to shy away from changing the channel.)

[Video and my transcript below the fold.]

My transcript (from the 0:52 mark):

BACHMANN: That’s where you come into play, because probably like no other commentator in the country, you have exposed this, and I’ll tell you, it is the infamous Glenn Beck chalkboard. [Beck chuckles.] That’s where the American people have been learning the truth. I will tell you: Members of Congress have their TVs snapped on when Glenn Beck comes on in the afternoon. We learn a lot from that infamous chalkboard about what’s going on.

As I said, it would certainly fit with what we’ve been seeing in the past two years or so.
