Let it never be said that interviewing wingnuts isn’t fun. Last night, Oregon Republican Congressional candidate Art Robinson went on Rachel Maddow’s show and promptly demonstrated perhaps why so few Republicans dare to make an appearance before the razor-witted Maddow. It’s a hilarious spectacle; the man, a self-claimed “very good scientist”, reveals himself to be a complete nutjob with a chip of lead on his shoulder as he gets asked about the number of loony claims he’s made in the past (from low-level radiation being beneficial for health to AIDS being a government scheme to reduce the LGBT population) and promptly goes berserk in attacking Maddow, calling her a quote-mining liar … despite the fact that she takes his quotes as-is from his own journals. You gotta see it to believe it, and you’ll be laughing all along. [Video below the fold.]

Oh, how she must love her job.
