• House of Representatives finally passes 9/11 healthcare bill. Don’t worry, fellow pessimists; the Senate is where good measures go to languish and die, after all.

• Two Iowa Republican Reps. introduce new bill to exclude LGBT students from 2007 anti-bullying bill. Because there just aren’t enough LGBT kids being bullied to misery or death.
