Sorry for the lack of posts these past few days. Blame a combination of a dearth of interesting blogging material and my being busy with other projects, notably grinding on that ruddy Chapter 16 of Inhuman.

  • Not content with merely arsoning the worksite, Murfreesboro, Tennessee Islamophobes now trying to stop the proposed mosque there with a stupid lawsuit. Ed Brayton (Dispatches from the Culture Wars) has the details.

  • Wackiest, most original and overall best nude/genital tattoos (NSFW). #4 is my favorite and makes me want to weep with sympathetic pain.

  • The plight of women sharing Sarah Palin’s name.

  • The Top Seven Cutest Feminists, from Spike, proving women don’t need to sacrifice aesthetics for brains. I’m just happy they didn’t put Sarah Palin in there.

  • British spy agency MI6 apparently liked to wank in their writings.

  • Ray Comfort claims atheists who say that “everything came from nothing” believe in “unscientific lunacy” and those who believe that matter didn’t just pop out of absolutely nowhere are no longer atheists. Boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

  • NewsBusters still sucks at the whole “reality in media” thing.

  • The “sick food movement”, featuring the Heart Attack Grill (Chandler, AZ). A whole movement of assholes giving the finger to health and people with genuine weight problems.
