You just can’t help but love this guy, be it for his knowledge, his charm, or his wonderful love for smacking down ridiculous myths. Here’s Neil deGrasse Tyson talking more smack about the predicted Mayan December 21, 2012 “doomsday” (that even actual Mayan descendants don’t believe in, by the way) and explaining just how and why it’s all bunk:
