Tattoo of Sarah Palin on buttock |
I send you flowers
Good flowers for your heart
I know your garden is full
But is there sweetness at all?
She’s the butt of jokes [pictured]. She’s an ass. She’s got flabby cheeks. You can just sit on her. Okay, there are too many jokes to count for this travesty.
(via Dispatches From the Culture Wars)Rachel Maddow on the hypocrisy of Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) in refusing to punish, using his own legislation, a fellow Republican senator who was caught lying about his military record.
Oh, come on. Just give them the money. And the slot machine malfunctioned twice in three months?
(via The Agitator)Clarification: it’s simply a beautiful thing.
(via The Agitator)I dunno if this facepalm-inducingly stupid story is representative of the whole NAACP, but they seriously need to get a clue. And, as Radley Balko points out, a friggin’ hearing test.
(via The Agitator)More on bigoted jackass Sen. Jake Knotts (R-SC) and his “raghead” comments.
(via The Agitator)Shocker: The “Family Research Council” (read: Archaic Bullshit Group) actually lobbied against a condemnation of the Ugandan Kill-the-Gays law. So, they’re in favor of gays being imprisoned and murdered, then. Once again, glad that’s all cleared up.
(via The Agitator)More evidence that illegal immigrants aren’t the problem, least of all when it comes to crime.
(via The Agitator)For once, I disagree – somewhat strongly – with Pat Condell, on the subject of the proposed Islamic center with mosque that’s to be built a few blocks (not yards, as he incorrectly stated) from “Ground Zero”. Once again, people: it’s just a freaking mosque. It’s not a giant middle-finger to America or the victims of 9/11, and IMO, it takes delusion, paranoia or blind hatred to see it that way. Its placement is the result of convenience with regards to zoning laws and demand, nothing more. I also believe it takes a fair amount of credulity (if not to say foolishness) to believe that even our lazy-spined politicians could actually consent to a mosque in such an area if they actually had any reason to believe it were a symbol of Islam’s triumph over 9/11 or whatever. Once again: get over it.
As always, if you have any story suggestions, feel free to send them in.
