You know, it gets harder and harder to find something remotely interesting to put here when my life’s as dull as fermenting paint.
And the “morality comes from religion” argument bites the dust once more: babies appear to possess the basics of morality.
“How can Europeans cry foul when Muslims are offended by a cartoon, when they themselves press charges and demand imprisonment over something as simple as a pop star making negative statements about their religion?”
(via Pharyngula)Sen. Merlin Bartz (R-Grafton, IA) believes that LGBT families threaten the institution of … camping. So he wants campgrounds to discriminate against them, of course.

(via Fark)Introducing Mithly, the first-ever gay magazine to hit the stands in an Islamic country. Color me pessimistic, but I don’t have any good feelings about where this might lead.
(via Fark)“Look, girl with the gash on her bloody face and dislodged teeth, the reason why I’m not letting you go to the nurse is because you have two filthy homo mothers and I want you to go to another school. Now, go sit in silence for hours like a good little injured girl. Kthxbai.”
(via Fark)He’s at it again: Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) plans to push legislation that will strip alleged American terrorists of their citizenship and will have them prosecuted in military tribunals as opposed to civilian courts. Now, to be certain, I have nothing against revoking the citizenships of individuals whose terroristic affiliations, intentions and actions have been confirmed. But doing so before the individual has even been tried, just to be able to prosecute them under wraps with little to no transparency, is disgusting (and not to mention, blatantly unconstitutional – but then, what the hell sort of Senator cares about constitutionality these days, anyway?).
