Stupid Quote of the Day Night: Pence on healthcare reform

From Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), who whines about healthcare reform on the eve of the historic vote to decide the bill’s (HR-3962, previously HR-3200) fate:

"I have never seen greater evidence that Washington, D.C., is out of touch with the American people than the fact that Democrats are going to continue in their headlong rush to pass a government takeover of healthcare in the wake of rising unemployment."

It is obviously Pence who is out of touch with the American people (and much of reality) if he can say such idiocy in the light of recent polls demonstrating how the majority of “the American people” are in favor of a public option in HR-3962. And, I’m not even gonna comment on that last bit about a “government takeover”, other than to suggest to Pence that he should perhaps watch a little less Faux Newz.
