Badass Quote of the Day: Maddow on idiot Hoekstra

Here is what Rachel Maddow had to say about Pete Hoekstra, the absolutely imbecilic (and bordering on criminally reckless) Republican congressman who leaked sensitive information pertaining to the intelligence community and the potentially dangerous individuals they keep tabs on:

“Do you want to see exhibit A of why that doesn't happen, why anyone defending the intelligence agencies' inclination to not tell things to Congress has a pretty good case to make about the grandstanding, reckless and humiliatingly dumb behavior of some of the people to whom they're supposed to be disclosing things?

“Congressman Pete Hoekstra is exhibit A.”

The man is a fucking idiot. If he truly is the best the Republican Party has to offer, then it’s officially time to disband the whole farce and try to forget about it, like a (really) bad (and nauseating) dream.
