From senatorial dumbass James Inhofe, whining about Obama's decision to close down Guantanamo and the criticism Gitmo has received in light of the "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" (ie. torture) that've been carried out there in secret for so long:
Inhofe said: "There has never been a case of torture there. The people there are treated better than in the federal prisons."He continued, "I don't know why President Obama is obsessed with turning terrorists loose in America."
Wow. I think he may have just broken the Republican record for brutal stupidity, obvious dishonesty and blatant fear-mongering and demagoguery – all in two short little sentences. I expect he'll be getting a medal from his Republican compatriots now.
