How to get rid of Microsoft Word's Clippy

Anyone who started using Microsoft Word prior to Word 2000 will undoubtedly remember, with much reluctance, that horribly annoying little "office assistant", a talking paper clip named Clippy, who popped up and insisted on giving you the sort of irrelevant, obtrusive and unneeded advice that just made you wanna twist him eight ways into a pretzel. Well, Clippy finally irritated the wrong guy – and got his comeuppance.
